Russian singer Julia Samoylova appeared in the concert dedicated to the Victory Day as TASS reports.
She performed the song Flame Is Burning that was prepared for the Eurovision song contest and Victory Day during the concert. She also talked about Eurovision 2018 and expressed her hope to present there a new song.
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) officially claimed that Russia cannot take part in Eurovision 2017 on April 13. As it is known Security Service of Ukraine prohibited Samoylova from entering the territory of Ukraine for three years. Due to this Russian Channel One will not broadcast the song contest the final of which is planned on May 13, in Kyiv.
