Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin successfully recovered from coronavirus. He is back on duty already.
According to the respective decree of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, released on the Kremlin's website, the previous document that temporarily put Andrei Belousov in charge instead of Mishustin is now null and void.
Press secretary of the Russian government Boris Belyakov commented on Mishustin's return, saying that his treatment procedures are over, and he is discharged from the hospital.
"He got back to work in the Government House. In the morning, he held a working staff meeting with his colleagues in the video conference mode", he said.
Last month, Russian Premier Mishustin told President Putin that the government would keep on working as usual, and First Deputy Premier Andrei Belousov would be serving as the Acting Prime Minister, while Mishustin remains in self-isolation. The Russian leader approved Belousov's candidacy.
Earlier, we reported that Russian presidential press secretary Dmitriy Peskov confirmed he had coronavirus, and he was undergoing treatment.
