In Yekaterinburg, Russia, the Paralympic man works as a food delivery service to earn money for a trip to Tokyo for this year's summer Paralympics, E1RU reports.

The courier turned out to be Mikhail Astashov, a professional athlete, the world champion in paratriathlon. The press service of the Yandex.Food service said that he was hired on February 2.

“He came to the hub with a friend, and he easily passed all the standard checks. According to the supervisor, he easily copes with the phone and the pen and is very motivated to work. Today, Mikhail went on his first shift and completed the first orders,” - they noted.

Mikhail Astashov is disabled since childhood; he was brought up in a baby house, and then in a rehabilitation center for children and adolescents with disabilities in Chelyabinsk region. He is now being trained by Vladimir Alypov. The immediate goal of the athlete and coach is to perform at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.

Earlier, the athlete and his coach turned to the State Duma deputy for help, because $5.5 thousand is needed for the qualifying rounds in Australia and the UAE, as well as for the Paralympics in Tokyo.

As we reported before, Russia will be suspended from participation in sports competitions if the investigation of WADA finds out that RUSADA, the Russian anti-doping agency submitted reports with fake information in them.
