Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko announced his country's readiness to supply a vaccine against coronavirus to world markets. The head of the Russian Ministry of Health announced this at the summit "The global goal is to unite for the future," TASS reported.
“From the first days, Russia has been supporting countries in Europe, America, and Asia, international institutions, including the SCO, the Eurasian Economic Union, and the World Health Organization. Given the risk of the second wave of a pandemic, Russia is ready to supply direct antiviral agents to the world market, including drugs for the treatment of cytokine storms, test systems, and vaccines," said Murashko.
He assures that Russia is ready for dialogue with international and public organizations on this issue.
According to Murashko, his country is developing and producing drugs to combat COVID-19, as well as diagnostic test systems.
As we reported, amid growing pandemic, scientists from Oxford University said that an inexpensive and affordable drug reduces the mortality of patients with severe Covid-19.
