The State Committee on TV and Radio Broadcasting banned the supply of 20 books on the Russian bogatyrs published in Russia to Ukraine as the press service of the committee reported.

It is noted that the supply of the Russia epic is banned due to the non-correspondence of their content to the criteria of the estimation of the published production allowed in Ukraine.

‘Ilya Muromets and Solovey-Razboynik: the tales about Russian bogatyrs’ and ‘Bogatyrs Russian fairy tales’ are on the list. Also, two books of Boris Akunin about the history of Russia were also banned.

The State Fiscal Service published a list of 74 banned books. Mostly, the issue is about the Revolution of Dignity, the annexation of Crimea and war in Donbas.
