Problems with Internet payments of the largest Russian banks are due to the fact that their authorization servers were among the IP-addresses blocked in Russian Federation. This is reported by Meduza.

The agency reports that IP-addresses have been tied to domains already blocked in Russia. The malefactors took advantage of the same vulnerability in the Roskomnadzor registry, with a help of which they blocked the site of Roskomnadzor itself, NTV and some others, including Meduza.

Yesterday at around 17.00 in Russia there was a massive malfunction that affected the servicing of bank cards of Sberbank, Raiffeisen Bank, UniCredit Bank, Otkrytiye Bank and Promsvyazbank.
