The law-enforcements detained Russian-backed militant, who planned armed provocation during commemoration events on May 2 in Odessa as Dmitriy Golovin the head of Odessa Region Police reports.

He prepared to take part in commemoration events in Odessa but preventative activity helped to neutralize him. Investigative action continues and the Russia-backed militant stands luggage inspection.

People gathered to commemorate the deceased on May 2, 2014. This day 48 people died and more that 250 got hurt during civil unrest in Odessa. Most victims died in Trade Unions Building. The investigation stated that civil unrest was organized and deliberately planned.
