Russian actress banned from entering Ukraine for three years after visiting Crimea

A Russian actress who visited annexed Crimea is banned from entry to Ukraine for three years as the State Border Guard Service reported.

“In the airport Boryspil among the passengers of the flight from Minsk, the border guards found the offender of Ukrainian legislation. The citizen of Russia, the actress who came to Ukraine for the filming was the offender. It turned out that in 2018, the Russian illegally visited the Crimean peninsula, occupied by her country,” the message said.

According to the State Border Guard Service, the actress is banned from entry to Ukraine for three years for the violation of the demands of the law of Ukraine “On provision of rights and freedoms of the citizens and legal regime in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine”.

The name of the actress is not disclosed.

Since the beginning of 2019, over 5,000 facts of the violations of the entry to and out occupied territories by people were spotted. 4,251 administrative protocols were compiled.
