Russia conducted tank firing exercises in the occupied Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
It is stated that tank units of a separate coastal defense brigade from the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation conducted training firing at targets simulating armored vehicles and artillery systems of the conventional enemy at the Angarsk landfill.
"The crews of the T-72B3 tanks in the tank company fired during the movement, which, in view of the rough terrain, significantly complicated their task of defeating the targets in the course of a contingent engagement. A separate episode of field training of tankmen was the development of suppression of the antitank groups of the conventional enemy on equipped positions," said in a statement.
Earlier it was reported that units of the marine infantry of the Caspian flotilla of the Russian Federation have been also transferred to the Crimea occupied by Russia.
