Russia has set up a new military camp on the territory of the annexed Crimea. Satellite images have recorded a huge Russian military camp in the east of the Crimean peninsula, according to the German Spiegel.
Spiegel's satellite images show that the Russian military base is located about 30 kilometers from the village of Marfovka, off the Black Sea coast.
As early as March 15, there was nothing in this area, and already on April 2, the satellite recorded vehicles and superstructures there.
And a satellite image from April 13 shows that in addition to structures in fenced areas, there are at least 1,000 more military vehicles in that area. The picture also shows that in addition to the main camp to the west of it, a smaller camp has been built.
Russia continues to concentrate its military forces around the Ukrainian borders. President Volodymyr Zelensky said that there are 80 thousand Russian military personnel and 30 thousand pro-Russian militants near the border with Ukraine.
