Road traffic still limited in four regions of Ukraine

As of Monday morning, State Emergency Service reported no gridlocks caused by harsh weather conditions

The road traffic is limited across four various regions of Ukraine, due to the harsh winter weather; Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions (central Ukraine), Ivano-Frankivsk (western Ukraine) and Odesa regions (southern Ukraine) are on the list, State Emergency Service reported on Monday morning.

As of 9 a.m. January 9, there were no reports of any gridlocks caused by blizzards or citizens who suffered frost bites while being blocked in traffic jams.

Over the last 24 hours, 2,557 snow clearing vehicles and 3,553 men were involved in road maintenance works.  

Five inhabited localities stay cut off from electricity in southern Ukraine – in Odesa and Kherson regions.
