Utility workers will block the road from Kyiv to Boryspil International Airport for two months due to repair works. This was reported by the press service of Boryspil Airport and Kyivavtodor Municipal Corporation.
Thus, on Tuesday, June 22, the repair of the road leading from Kyiv to Boryspil will start. This is an 18-kilometer section.
"From June 23, the passage will be temporarily closed in the direction of Boryspil. Traffic in both directions will be carried out by passage in the direction of Kyiv," the statement reads.
The press service of Boryspil airport noted that now the duration of travel to the airport may be longer than usual, so urged to be careful on the day of departure.
"Take into account changes in traffic organization and plan your departure in advance," the airport added.
Meanwhile, State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) together with one of the largest construction American companies Bechtel Overseas Corporation will cooperate within the implementation of the construction project of the Kyiv by-pass road. The sides have signed the memorandum on mutual understanding on cooperation in the fulfillment of the project.
