The Kyiv - Wroclaw bus fell into a ditch in Rivne region and as a result of the accident 16 people were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"On July 17 at 03:45 am near the town of Radyvyliv, Dubensky district, on the highway, the driver of a regular bus with the route Kyiv - Wroclaw lost control and overturned, as a result of which 16 people with injuries of varying severity were hospitalized," the message says.
At the time of the accident, there were 40 people on the bus. All citizens of Ukraine. Rescuers took 10 passengers out of the bus andused a special tool to release 1 person who was squeezed between the seats. 15 people are in Radyvyliv hospital, and 1 person is hospitalized in Brody hospital.
All the circumstances of the accident are now being established by police officers.
As we reported earlier, on March 6, six people died and 35 were injured in an accident involving a Ukrainian bus in southeastern Poland. The bus, with 57 people on board, fell into a ditch at night. Oleh Nikolenko, the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, announced this on his Twitter page.
"Traffic accident in Poland: the number of injured has increased to 35 Ukrainians. Everyone is provided with the necessary medical and consular assistance. We are grateful to the Polish side for the prompt response," the message says.
