Two cars crashed in a deadly road accident in Kyiv the small hours of Wednesday; Daewoo Lanos and Mercedes Vito appear to be involved in the head-on collision. It killed two people and inflicted severe traumas on another two, Informator reports.
The accident occurred at 5.45 a.m. The police reported that Daewoo was moving towards Pivdenny bridge on the one-lane traffic roadway. For some reason, Mercedes rudely violated the driving regulations and met halfway with Daewoo.
'The driver and Lanos's female passenger deceased due to the head-on collision. The rescue team had to use special tools to cut their bodies out of the car. Vito's driver and passenger were taken to a hospital in grave condition', the outlet wrote.
The patrol police, three ambulance cars and the State Emergency Service crews reached the site. The details of the accident are being sorted out; the traffic in the area of Pivdenny bridge is temporarily limited.
