In the detention center of Mykolaiv on Sunday, April 8, some of the detained refused to go to the cells on the instructions of the administration. This is reported by "Prestupnosti.NET" with reference to the information of the penitentiary service.
According to the information available, about 50 people went out for a walk in the morning, and after that they refused to return to the cells. At the same time, some of them had signs of drug and alcohol intoxication.
According to the source of the publication, the instigator of the incident is Georgian citizen Artur Sayadov, who is suspected of committing a number of thefts. Due to the disobedience of the detained, the people on duty raised the alarm and reported what was happening to the National Police. Now the administration is trying to call all the staff of the institution and is negotiating with the suspects.
In addition, the administration of the detention center can't attract police or special forces to stop the riots - the plan for such actions should be coordinated in the Ministry of Justice, which oversees the penitentiary service.
According to available information, a number of suspects are violating the order and insulting the staff for two weeks already. In this regard, the management of the detention center recommended for the female part of the team to stay at home.
Now along the perimeter of the detention center work officers of the patrol police and National Guard in equipment, in order to avoid probable attempts of the suspects to escape from the detention center.
There is no information about the wounded and dead.
