Mykolaiv passes into the "red" zone of epidemiological danger from October 26. Due to this, the authorities decided to impose severe restrictions on people who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus as First Deputy Mayor Vitaliy Lukov stated during the briefing.

It is noted that only those establishments where the staff is 100% vaccinated will continue to work.

“The same applies to clients who come to these establishments. For example, in cafes and restaurants, the collective must be 100% vaccinated; they can also serve only those visitors who provide a certificate of vaccination," he explained.

Restrictions will also be introduced for markets and non-food stores.

Lukov noted that the owner or employee of the institution is obliged not to serve those people who do not have a vaccination certificate. If a person breaks the rules, then the owner or employee of the store has the right to call the police.

Employees of the State Food Service and the National Police will monitor compliance with quarantine restrictions, conduct inspections and impose fines.
