The government is doing everything possible to overcome the coronavirus in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during the events dedicated to the Independence Day on Sophia Square in Kyiv.
"We are provided with everything we need, we have established our own production, we are restoring hospitals and laboratories, and the most important thing we have is Ukrainian doctors. They courageously resist the disease, they are our magicians and superheroes, and we must treat our doctors the same way - be responsible and follow safety rules," he said.
The President noted that the responsibility of every Ukrainian will help overcome the coronavirus in the country.
"The day will surely come when, according to joyful SMS from the General Staff, there will be no less joyful from the Minister of Health: Over the past day in Ukraine, there have been zero cases, zero deaths," the head of state summed up.
As we reported before, August 24, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, the March of the country's defenders is being held in Kyiv, organized by the Veterans' Movement and the Come Back Alive Foundation.
