A multi-story living house partially collapsed in Batumi, one of the largest cities in Georgia. According to the preliminary data, there are victims in this tragedy. News of Georgia agency reported this on Friday.

According to Batumelebi, several cars ended up under the debris. Search and rescue teams took a seven-year-old child from one of these cars.

There could be more people under the debris, officials assume. Locals are helping the emergency service employees take away the ruins.

So far there is no certain information about the reason for the collapse. However, the witnesses reported an explosion that they hear before the building fell.
