A 77-year-old woman was burned alive.
"A fire occurred on Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street 77, on the eighth floor. There was an old woman. Rescuers were sent to the scene, a ladder was immediately installed in order to save her. Firefighters tried to persuade the woman to climb the ladder, but she did not want to, she was in inadequate and shocked condition, she pushed the rescuer away," the report reads.
The fire is still being extinguished.
It is noted that the apartment has a lot of garbage. Rescuers also have no information on whether other people were in the apartment during the fire.
As we reported earlier, an explosion of a residential building occurred in Kyiv's Poznyaky area.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, it was caused by human negligence.
"In my opinion, I can say in advance that this is human negligence, because such explosions occur sometimes, not only in the city of Kyiv, but also in other cities of Ukraine, and also abroad, and this is a human factor," Klitschko said.
