In the National Park Synevyr, works have begun on constructing a rehabilitation center with the necessary environment for predatory birds, as the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine press service informs.
As Mykola Debrak, the head of Synevyr, told, predatory birds need protection more than any other ones, as they are often used for commercial purposes and the birds have to live in harsh conditions.
The rehabilitation center for predatory birds will be built on the outskirts of Kolochava village, and the construction has already started. Such an institution will be only the second in Synevyr. The first rehabilitation centre has been functioning here for six years. It’s a sanctuary for brown bears, where 23 of them are kept.
