As of early July 10, 52,043 cases of Covid-19 were observed in Ukraine. The number of newly observed cases made 819. Maksym Stepanov, the Healthcare Minister of Ukraine said so during the briefing in Kyiv on July 10.
Since the epidemic reached Ukraine, 1,345 people deceased from coronavirus in Ukraine. 18 of these passed away over the last 24 hours. 24,800 people recovered since the beginning of the pandemic; that's 1,016 people per day - actually, the record number.
Most of the cases are observed in Kyiv (118), Zakarpattya region (112) and Lviv region (82).
The rate of coronavirus spread across the world is still hastening, and most of the countries don't have control over it yet. The Guardian wrote this, quoting Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the leader of the World Healthcare Organization (WHO).
"In most of the world the virus is not under control. It is getting worse. 11.8+m cases of Covid-19 have now been reported to WHO. More than 544,000 lives have been lost. The pandemic is still accelerating. The total number of cases has doubled in the last six weeks", the official said.
