Meteorologists noted that this temperature is 1.2 ° C above the previous high of 1911.
"In this regard, the average daily temperature exceeded by 0.3 ° C the historical value of 1934. It was + 22.8 ° C," the center added.
The beginning of May was anomalously hot and dry for the capital of Ulraine. This year, the night of May 2 in Kyiv also became the warmest for the last 137 years.
