 Record amount of cocaine intercepted in Rotterdam port - 28 tons

A record amount of cocaine was confiscated at the port of Rotterdam. The consignment of narco substance amounted to 28 tons, NOS reports.

This record was announced by the measures of the Dutch city Ahmed Abutaleb. He also noted that a year earlier, 19 tons of cocaine were intercepted at the same port.

In addition, the mayor criticized the work of law enforcement and called for expanding the group to combat drug crime.

As we reported, Security Service of Ukraine detained dealers in synthetic drugs - methadone in the Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. A resident of the Vasilkivske district of the Kyiv region organized the drug business for millions of hryvnias.  He attracted four more residents of the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions who had previously been convicted of the same crimes to his illegal business.  They were couriers and dealers.
