Rate of coronavirus spread finally stabilizes in Ukraine, - Zelensky

The situation regarding the spread of coronavirus infection is finally stabilizing in Ukraine. Last week, the number of patients in need of hospitalization decreased significantly. This was reported on the website of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"The leaders among the identified infected are Lviv (99 people) and Zakarpattia (79 people) regions," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal stated.

As of early July 13, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 54,133 cases of coronavirus all over the country.

As we reported earlier, the World Health Organization claimed a record growth of Covid-19-infected people over 24 hours.

The overall number of the sick, thus, approached 13 million people worldwide. According to the study by researchers from Johns Hopkins University, more than 12.7 million people got infected.

According to the WHO daily report, the largest daily spike of morbidity is observed in the U.S., Brazil, India, and South Africa. The previous record was observed on July 10, making 228,102 people getting infected over 24 hours.
