Ukraine was ranked 38 out of 42 countries in the ranking of the world's happy countries. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

The Gallup International Association of Independent Research Agencies surveyed 38,709 people in 42 countries. According to its results, Kyrgyzstan was the happiest country in 2020, where 85% of residents consider themselves happy.

Ukraine's result in 2020 (only 14% of respondents were able to call themselves happy) shows a 19% decrease, comparing to 2019, when this indicator was 33%.

Spain is considered to be the European Union's happiest country (56%), Poland's result was 39%, and Russia's - 19%.

As we reported earlier, four Ukrainian cities - Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Dnipro - were included in the TomTom Traffic Index ranking due to the largest time delays for traffic jams in 2020.

The capital of Ukraine is now located between the Indian Bengaluru and New Delhi (7th place). The average delay in Kyiv is 51%.

The list also includes Odesa -11th place, Kharkiv, which takes 13th place, and 22nd place is secured by Dnipro.
