In Lviv, a peaceful rally against the use of animals in circuses ended in clashes with the police. This is reported by the Lviv portal.

The action was planned for the time when one of the circuses held a performance with the participation of tigers and lions. As reported by the Lviv portal, before the protest rally near the circus gathered a small group of people with leaflets, as well as policemen. Later, as reported, another group of people approached, who began throwing smoke bombs in the direction of the picketers. Several people were detained, and the entrance to the circus for citizens with children was blocked.

When the excitement subsided, the circus's visitors were allowed to go inside, and some of the picketers, who did not disperse, were detained due to the fact that they had knives and metal sticks.
