The unknown men attacked Radio Liberty journalists in the airport Kyiv, who were filming the arrival of Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of Ukrainian Choice political party. Mykhailo Tkach, a reporter of the Radio Liberty, reported that on his Facebook page.

“People are always guarding Viktor Medvedchuk arrives and departs near the VIP terminal of the airport Kyiv. People wearing masks and balaclavas impeded our professional journalist activity. They hit us with their elbows, bumped into us, buttonhooked, knocked the camera from the hands of a cameraman. They blocked our car with a video recorder preventing us from filming Viktor Medvedchuk arrives from Russia and leaves the terminal,” Mykhailo Tkach wrote.

As we reported earlier, 80 cases of physical aggression against journalists were documented in Ukraine since the beginning of the year. There were 11 cases of physical aggression against media workers in September.
