The price increase for the trip will affect metro, trolleybuses, trams, municipal bus, cable car and city train. From now the fare for one trip is 0.3 USD.
Passengers who are regularly traveling by the public transport will pay less. As the fare will be 0.24 USD in case of the deposit of non-contact card for 50 trips.
The expiry date is increased to one year (earlier, six months) and will be estimated not from a date of the last deposit but from a date of the last usage.
The number of trips purchased at a time on a plastic contactless card can’t exceed 50 units, and the total number of such trips can't exceed 100 units. Refund value of the plastic card is set at 0.6 USD. The cost of unused trips, left on the plastic card, the period of which has expired, is not refundable.
Moreover, the trip for passengers who use a monthly travel pass will cost 0.25 USD. At the same time, in the monthly travel passes for land transport and the city train, the number of trips will be unlimited.
It is expected that these types of tickets will be convenient especially for tourists and guests. Privileges for the travel are retained for pensioners, veterans of the ATO, Chernobyl victims and other categories of the population.
Previously purchased tickets remain valid for the current month, the same applies to plastic cards. Until the end of July, it is also allowed to use previously purchased tokens and tickets at no extra charge, and to exchange old tokens for the new ones without additional payment.
Tickets and tokens can also be exchanged, but with an additional surcharge in August.
Previously purchased tokens and tickets will be nonrefundable from the 1st of September.
Reportedly, current fares for the trips were set last year.
