Hamburg Police informs that since the beginning of protests against G20 summit, 288 people were detained, half of them already arrested, according to BBC.

Clashes of protesters with police continued on Sunday night. Only by morning Hamburg Police wrote on their Twitter that the situation in the streets calmed down.

The police previously asked people to upload photos and videos of protests, so that they can identify offenders.

In a press release the police told the protesters were armed with Molotov cocktails. They were also throwing stones and injured a few police officers with slingshots.
