102 people arrested in the protests

The G20 meetings are held while activists in Hamburg protest. The situation has downgraded into clashes of left extremist so-called Black Block with the police, according to DW.

The latest information is that 197 police officers were injured in clashes with extremists. There’s no data as to the number of peaceful civilians and aggressive protesters  injured.

Police reported that the extremist used metal objects and slingshots to attack police officers in Schulterblatt street in Sternschanze district. One police officer suffered from fracturing the tibia.

102 people were arrested in the protests.

Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel condemned violence in the protests against G20 summit in Hamburg.

As we reported earlier,  111 police officers were wounded in protests yesterday.

The police also used water cannons to disperse the protesters.
