A brawl between protesters and the police occurred near the concert hall National Palace of Arts Ukraina before the concert of a famous duet Potap and Nastya. 50 members of “Sokil” organization threw eggs and tomatoes at the visitors of the concert, they hit even women and children, protesting against the singers, according to 112 Ukraine TV channel reporter.
Five protesters were detained by the police. Later police drew up administrative protocols for petty crimes and released the detainees.
Ukrainian outlet lb.ua reported 70 police officers were encircled the protesters and beat them. After a period of relative calm, another fight started, initiated by the protesters this time. Later the injured have verified their injuries at the emergency care hospital. One of them has concussion of the brain and was hospitalized in intensive therapy unit, according to the C14 group in Facebook.
