The Prosecutor General's office and the law enforcers suspended the activities of 631 illegal gas-filling stations throughout Ukraine. Another 76 gas stations were voluntarily dismantled, as the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office reported.
The body specified that the activities of the stations were stopped due to the illegal manufacture, storage, and sale of excisable goods, as well as a violation of safety rules during work with increased danger.
In addition, 343 criminal proceedings have been launched regarding the illegal operation of gas stations.
As we reported, 439 illegal petrol stations were closed during the last three weeks in Ukraine.
Earlier, the prices for gasoline A-92 and A-95 and diesel fuel decreased for $0,022- 0,043. It happened after the meeting of President Zelensky with the representatives of the filling stations.
During a meeting with representatives of the fuel market, oil and gas industry and gas station networks Zelensky discussed the issue of lowering fuel prices at Ukrainian gas stations and detailing the market.
