Production team begins to shoot "Double Immelman turn" film

The picture will be based on the script by Iren Rozdobduko. It is also the director's debut for Vira Yakovenko. The film tells the story of Ukrainian air crew that ended up in the occupied Donbas and had to leave that territory on their own

Double Immelman turn, the film by Vira Yakovenko based on the story by Iren Rozdobudko is now in production.

In September, the script gained the first prize of international literature contest called "Coronation of the word" (in the "film script" nomination)

Double Immelman turn is an aerobatic figure. The film tells the story of Ukrainian air crew that ended up in the occupied Donbas and had to leave that territory on their own. The main character is the mother of one of crew members who tries to help her son get out of captivity.

The cast consists of Larysa Rusnak, Istan Razumny, Ksenia Basha, Nina Naboka and others.

The film is to be released in 2021.

Ukrainian sports drama film Pulse received four nominations at the international film festival in Polson (Montana, the U.S.). The movie was nominated in the next categories:

  • Best film – Pulse;
  • Best director – Serhiy Chebotarenko;
  • Best actress – Natalya Babenko;
  • Best actor – Stanislav Boklan.

The jury has highly appraised the Ukrainian movie: “PULSE is an inspiring story of personal triumph, told with major studio level finesse on all counts. The film craftsmanship of PULSE is on display throughout, with solid visuals, music, production value, and near flawless on-screen performances from the entire cast. It's refreshing to come across gems like PULSE when reviewing dozens of films a month”.
