A resident of Kharkiv, who, according to the investigation, supplied weapons to the Lutsk terrorist, was arrested for 60 days with the right to post bail in the amount of 6,200 dollars. This was reported by Suspilne.media.
Investigator Dmytro Doroshenko insisted on his detention. As a result, a judge of the Ordzhonikidze District Court of Kharkiv ruled a two-month arrest.
Such a precautionary measure was motivated by the presence of weapons during the searches and the risk of illegal influence on witnesses.
"Ammunition can indicate the established sale of firearms and ammunition in the cities of Ukraine, that it was sent by the suspect. He may also illegally influence witnesses and possible accomplices in the crime. The last time he sent parcels was through Nova Poshta (delivery service - 112 International) with unspecified content," the investigator said.
At the hearing, the suspect admitted that the found weapon belonged to him but denied that he traded in weaponry and ammunition.
As we reported earlier, on July 21, an unknown man hijacked the suburban bus "Berestechko - Krasnylovka" and took 20 people hostage.
His actions were caused by dissatisfaction with Ukraine’s political system. Nevertheless, there were no clear demands on his part.
He eventually surrendered to the law enforcement officers, there were no victims among the hostages.
