Prince Harry interviewed Obama within the BBC's Today program and noted that former US president was a little bit nervous. He decided to start the interview with a jokey warm-up.
‘Do I have to speak faster? Because I’m a slow speaker’, Obama asked the prince.’Do I need a British accent?’
Harry immediately answer the former president. ‘If you start using long pauses between your answers, you’re going to get ‘the face’’, he warned, pulling a pout that only a prince could get away with.
‘Oh, okay, I don’t want to see that face’, Obama replied.
The full 40-minute interview, which was recorded at the Invictus Games in Toronto last September, will be broadcasted on December 27 on BBC Radio 4 Today.
