The President’s Office does not want to re-establish strict quarantine throughout Ukraine, but they will have to do so if the situation with the incidence of coronavirus worsens. Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko stated this on Ukraine 24 TV channel, RBC reports.

“We would not like to reinforce quarantine again, because it’s a blow to the economy and people, but such a measure is not excluded,” Tymoshenko said.

He noted that if the country does not manage to stop the increase in the incidence of coronavirus, in 10 days there may be a "completely different situation." Therefore, he urged all citizens to adhere to all conditions of the existing quarantine as much as possible: wear masks, disinfect their hands and take other measures to protect against the threat of infection with Covid-19.

As we reported before, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Ghebreyesus, noted the onset of a new dangerous phase of the coronavirus pandemic in the world.
