Presidential University to appear in Ukraine: Zelensky signs decree

President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the establishment of the Presidential University that will graduate specialists on the security of our state. He signed the relevant document during the Ukraine 30 forum.

"A presidential university will be established in Ukraine. It is a higher education institution that will train people of the future. The best teachers will be gathered in one place and specialists who will be able to solve important state tasks to protect our state in the most urgent areas will be trained," Zelensky said.

According to the President, the university will train specialists in information and cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, as well as aerospace, energy, and biotechnology.

According to the head of state, university education will be free, but graduates will be required to work in Ukraine.

As it was reported earlier, a new higher military educational institution will appear in Ukraine - the Kyiv Institute of the National Guard of Ukraine. The new university appeared by separating the Kyiv Faculty from the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine. The university will train staff to fill the positions of officers of the National Guard.
