The crash of the Mi-8 helicopter in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was provoked by a collision with another helicopter taking off from the same site. This was reported to Interfax by a source in the operational headquarters at the site of the incident.
"Previously, a helicopter with passengers took off behind the helicopter carrying metalwork on the winch and touched the outer cargo of the first helicopter with blades," the source said.
It is noted that the crew of the second helicopter had to drop the cargo on the ground in order not to crash. The people on board did not suffer.
Also a source in the operational headquarters said that black boxes of the crashed helicopter had already been found.
"A voice recorder and a parametric recorder were found, but in this case they hardly contain enough information to establish the causes of the accident. The accident was developing too rapidly, "the source said.
As previously reported, the Mi-8 helicopter suffered an accident in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, according to preliminary data, 18 people were killed.
A source in the operational headquarters said that the helicopter crashed on the seventh minute of the flight. According to him, the crashed Mi-8 transported oilmen.
