According to the expert, the epidemic wave will be so powerful that no system will be able to withstand it. In order to mitigate the impact of the upcoming blow, Slavutsky offers four levels of strict quarantine that must be introduced in the near future.
"Most likely, considering this epidemic growth, if nothing is done, we will reach a peak in January-February. Then the incidence should decline, hopefully by March-April. Nevertheless, if there are very effective anti-epidemic measures, this wave can be curbed already in December," the expert said.
As we reported earlier, according to the statement of Health Minister Maksym Stepanov, Ukraine will introduce a full lockdown when its medical system collapses.
"Looking at today's dynamics, we can say that it will be from 25,000 to 30,000 (the potential number of new patients in the near future - 112 International). In this case, the occupancy of our medical system might be about 80%, which is a serious number," said the minister.
