A trailer and a poster of Ukrainian-British film Legacy of Lies have been released on July 30. The spy thriller by Adrian Ball will be first aired in Ukraine's cinemas on August 6.
British actor and martial artist Scott Adkins and Ukrainian actress and TV host Anna Butkevych played the main parts.
The picture reveals the story of ex-MI6 operative Martin Baxter who had to temporarily abandon his retirement, when young Ukrainian reporter asked him to help her reveal the shocking truth about black ops conducted by international special services.
The events are taking place in Kyiv, and the production crew shot most of the picture in Ukraine, and partially in the UK. Ukrainians, especially Kyivites will be able to identify a lot of notable locations in the Ukrainian capital, such as the Central railway station, Boryspil international airport, Vernadsky library, Kyiv crematory, Rybalsky bridge and many others.
The picture will be also aired in more than 25 countries, including China, the USA, the countries of Latin America, Asia and Europe.
