Suspicion of the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was transferred from the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) to the Prosecutor’s General Office (GPO) on October 30, but the case had been there for nearly 20 days with no reaction from the Prosecutor General. This was reported by Strana.ua, referring to the sources in the Prosecutor’s General Office.
According to the source, the case was registered under the number 01-18037. SBI submitted it for the approval over again but announced it publicly this time.
Only after that Prosecutor General Ryslan Ryaboshapka stated that GPO would examine the document. Even though prosecutors had had over two weeks for its examination.
As we reported earlier, State Bureau of Investigation filed the draft suspicion to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine toward fifth president Petro Poroshenko and submissions to the Verkhovna Rada on the provision of the permission for his prosecution, according to Poroshenko's lawyer.
It is worth mentioning that the ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko did not come for the interrogation appointed by the Prosecutor General's Office again.
