Ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko flew to Kyiv from Spain on the night of March 14-15, having managed to return to the country before the border was closed at midnight on March 17. Journalists of the Strana.ua agency met him near the Hall of official delegations at Boryspil airport.
"He didn’t answer any questions - he was cheating on our correspondents, got behind the wheel of a Mercedes and drove away. His son Mykhailo was masked. Judging by the fact that he and his family freely left the terminal, they did not send him to quarantine," the message said.
He arrived in the capital of Ukraine aboard the Cessna 560XL Citation XLS OE-GjM with the Austrian registration number. This is a lightweight twin-engine business class aircraft with a full-height cabin.
Poroshenko ordered a charter flight, which, according to media sources, cost him 28,000 Euros.
The politician left Ukraine on Sunday, March 8,; this is why he failed to appear for questioning at the State Bureau of Investigation.
Poroshenko went to Spain, to the fashionable SHA complex located off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
As we reported before, Ukraine will close the border for aviation, railway and bus traffic for two weeks. This was reported by the press
center of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
"On March 17, 2020, from 00:00 and over the next two weeks, the border crossing points of Ukraine will be closed for aviation, rail and bus traffic. For citizens of Ukraine traveling by their own transport, the border crossing points are open," the message said.
