Poroshenko sings Law on Basic Principles of Ukraine’s Cyber Security

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed the law about the basic rules of provision of the country’s cyber security. His press service reported this in Kyiv on Tuesday.

‘The law lays legal and structural basis of protection of vital interests and the rights of Ukrainian citizens, the entire society and the state, Ukraine’s national interests in the cyber space,’ reads the message.

The document also defines the basic infrastructure objects, which compose critical infrastructure of the country that needs the best possible cyber protection.       

The respective bill was passed by the Ukrainian Parliament last month.
