During the trip to Avdiivka, Donetsk region, President Petro Poroshenko presented awards to 31 servicemen. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

"Seven fighters were awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnytsky of III degree, 12 servicemen received from the hands of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Order For Courage of the III degree, 12 more soldiers - a medal For Military Service for Ukraine," confirmed in the message.

At the same time, it is noted that the awards were presented to military personnel for a significant personal contribution to strengthening the country's defense capability, courage, dedication and high professionalism, shown during the fighting and in the performance of official duties.

In turn, servicemen of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade handed Poroshenko the award and the flag of the brigade.
