Poltava region to enter red quarantine zone on April 15

Since April 15, Poltava region will join the list of Ukraine's regions in the red zone of epidemic danger. Oleg Nemchynov, the Cabinet Minister reported that on Telegram.

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors detected 794 lab-confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus. 266 of these were observed in Poltava alone. 23 lethal cases took place.

High level of hospitalizations is observed in Ukraine due to the coronavirus. During the past week, the peak load on the emergency first aid is observed – the medics perform 17-19,000 rides daily as Deputy Health Minister of Ukraine Iryna Mykychak reported.

“We, during the last week, had peak load on the emergency first aid. We have a high level of hospitalization. If we talk about emergency aid – averagely they perform 17-19,000 rides daily during the past week,” Mykychak said.

According to the deputy minister, the decrease of the load on the emergency system in some regions – particularly, the issue is about Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, according to an incidence rate of these regions.
