The department of the Jelenia Gora Trade Union in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship plans to protect the Ukrainian workers in Poland. The Radio Poland reported this.

‘We cannot allow that Ukrainians will get the lower wage than it is stated in the law. Also, we will not allow lengthening of their work day without recompense’, Frantcishek Kopec the head of the Regional Administration of the Solidarity Trade Union claimed.

Last year the citizens of Ukraine received 1.3 million of permits to work in Poland. One in ten Ukrainian has a longtime labor contract.
