In Poland, four people were detained for transporting illegal migrants from the Polish-Belarusian border. Among the drivers was a citizen of Ukraine, RMF24 reports.

The first car driven by a Polish citizen was stopped in the village of Sobolevo. There were three Afghans in the transport. A Jordanian citizen carrying two Turks was stopped in Stadniki. A Vietnamese citizen and two Kurds were convicted in Shchytsi-Dentsyolovo.

The Ukrainian was detained in the city of Bielsk Podlaski. There were three Kurdish passengers in his car.

"All the people who were transported were in our country illegally. They were handed over to border guards. Drivers were detained for assisting migrants in illegally crossing the border," police said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has not yet commented on the incident.

As it was reported earlier, the police of Podlachia, Poland, detained a Ukrainian citizen who was transporting 12 people on a bus, who probably illegally stayed in Poland.
