Workers of the National Police and the SBU, Ukraine's State Security Service searched the building of Dovzhenko Centre in Kyiv. Ivan Kozlenko, the CEO of the Centre posted this on Facebook.

"We've got a search of the police and the SBU. They seize documents. It has nothing to do without today's statement. They look into the criminal case under the State Auditor's Service Revision Act.", the post says.

Kozlenko specified that the searches are not related to today's statement of the Centre that lacks funds from the state budget.

On early May 28, the National Centre of Oleksandr Dovzhenko claimed that it went bankrupt, as the government did not provide any funding since the beginning of the year. Thus, the Centre cannot pay salaries to its staff, and its property may be arrested.
