Police in Kyiv returned to the singer Maruv things that were stolen from her car on January 11. The press service of the capital police on Facebook.

"Today, February 17, the investigator of the Shevchenko police department returned to the singer a part of the stolen things, other property will be returned to the owner after conducting examinations," - the statement said.

The police also noted that the offender was detained a few days after the theft. At the moment, the attacker is in custody. For the crime committed, he faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

As we reported before, The National TV Company of Ukraine finds participation of Maruv in Eurovision risky for the state due to the political opinion of the singer.

Koltsova added that Eurovision participant would be obliged to constantly communicate on behalf of the whole country. Since society is divided, the political opinion of Maruv becomes risky for Ukraine.
