Ukrainian law enforcers found two hand grenades while conducting a rescue operation, getting the kitten from a garage. The story took place in Dobropillya, Donetsk region, press office of the local police branch reported.
"Local residents turned to the local polcie station, asking them to help save the kitten that entered the garage and could not leave it. Saving the animal, the police fpind two hand grenades in the building", the message says.
The law enforcers found the garage owner and seized the explosive items. The owner told the police he have not used the garage for several years, and he had no idea how the grenades appeared in the garage. His testimony will be checked during the pre-trial investigation. If the court considers him guilty, the man could face up to seven years behind the bars.
Earlier, we reported that the National Police branch of Donetsk region found a large arms stash in Chermalyk. three rocket anti-tank launchers RPG-22, 200 bullets of 5.45 mm caliber, four TNT bombs, 11 charges for an under-barrel grenade launcher and other ammunition were found in the cache. They were stored in the basement of one of the local residential buildings.
